Warwick Folk Festival; last weekend in July 2017

The members of Painting for Pleasure were asked to paint
some boards that were then used to decorate the festival site.

Everyone enjoyed contributing and then seeing their work displayed

Canvas paintings for the Westbury Centre

This project members have been invited to paint a canvas in acrylic. The paintings will be used to decorate the Mary Edwards room at the Westbury centre. Everyone has been enjoying having the opportunity to paint on canvas, for many it is a new experience.

October Open Day

Visitors to the Painting for Pleasure Open Day were treated to a lovely selection of tasty cakes, bought or hand-made by our members. Coffee and Walnut for me!

The paintings sessions, morning and afternoon, carried on as usual so visitors could walk around, see the artwork in progress, and chat with members.

The raffle prizes were coming in.... did you win?

Westbury Centre Relaunch 17/9/2016

Painting for Pleasure put on a lovely display last Saturday.

The afternoon was a great success well attended

and everyone enjoyed the cakes.
