Imperial War Museum trip

On Wednesday 25th October 13 of the group met at 8.30 in the morning and set off in a minibus to London. Thank you to Back 'n Forth for providing the disabled-friendly minibus and volunteer driver, without which some of us would not be able to go.
We spent a very informative and emotive day looking at the WW1 and other exhibits. Exhibits were very visual giving you a real feel of what it was like to be involved, whether at home or on the front line.
We came away with a lot of ideas to work on in our project.

  1. A trip to a museum is so informative and emotive. It keeps us in touch with our past. The paintings which were done for pleasure speak a lot about the past. Thank you for sharing this with us.
